  My Own Hickalena
Owned, Trained, and Shown by Ken Mckenzie
NCHA lifetime earnings of $8495.40

All of us here at Classic Performance Horses are very proud of this little mare and her owner. Ken has done all the training on this talented mare, his first cutting horse.  He has competed in the non-pro and amateur events in both weekend shows, and aged events and
has done very well.
A very nice mare, with a big stop like her dad, and lots of expression on a cow. We want to thank Ken for breeding to My Own League,
and for training and showing this mare! Congratulations Ken on your success  with My Own Hickalena
.

  Out of My League

Congratulations to Dale Dodd and Out Of My League!
In 2008 Dale and Out Of My League were futurity finalists
at both the Canadian Supreme, and the Wrangler Futurity
earning over $6000.

Thank you Dale for not only breeding back in 2008
but for showing this good My Own League gelding.
Check him out on Dale's website.

  My Own Way
Owned by Classic Performance Horses

“Ping” was not shown as a 3 year old as she was just too immature, we did show her as a 4 year old. She won go round money at the Canadian Supreme, just missed the derby finals,
(bad cow,,,,,) Unfortunately an accident has left her broodmare sound only. She was a very talented mare, with a huge heart, and the biggest stop. We bred her later in the summer so she is due in June 2009 with an Annie’s Cat foal.

Genuine Doc Boon Bar
Owned by Tom Ostero

“Johny Cash” was one of the first colts by My Own League that we had in to train and show. Tom purchased “Johny Cash” at Don Adam’s Western Legends Horse Sale as a two year old.

He had a successful year as a three year old making the finals in both the Open and the Canadian Supreme nominated futurity classes. His total earnings as a three year old were over  $5000.00. I still say he looked the most like his dad!

Way Out Of My League
Cowhorse earnings of $4200.00

This 2002 gelding was out of a very nice thoroughbred mare by
Son Of Briartic. We called him “Charlie Horse”  because he just was a “Charlie”. He was so personable, and very trainable. Loren didn’t get near has much time on him as he should have had (always the way with your own!) and he still went to the Canadian Snaffle Bit Futurity  and was Reserve Champion .

Charlie found a new home right after the futurities thanks to Lisa Whitman. Lisa’s friend Leslie Beckford bought him, and we get updates via Lisa on how he is doing. Thanks to Leslie for giving Charlie the great home he so deserved!
