ANNIES PRETTY SMART NCHA LTE of $18,465.00 Bred and Owned by Darcy Geherman
It was just great to get the opportunity to train this nice gelding. Special from the get go as he was the first Annies Cat kid ,and the first out of a My Own League daughter, that we had the chance to ride. This cross definatly works! "Copenhagen" was reserve at the Calgary Wrangler Futurity, and has since earned some more money with Darcy riding him in the non-pro classes. Congradulations to Darcy Geherman and his breeding program! |

CATS ANGEL NCHA LTE $13,000.00 (with earnings not yet recorded from 2 Aged Events this fall of over $7,000) Owned By Ken Zender /Shown by Ken in the Non-Pro, and Loren in the Open
Ken purchased this mare in FortWorth as a 2 year old and put her in training to go to the futurity in FortWorth the following year. Angel and Ken brought home some money from Texas in the Amatuer Division, and now this year have won money in her Derby year. With Ken aboard Cats Angel won the Open To The World Non-Pro Superstakes, and this fall was third at both the Canadian Supreme Open Derby and the Calgary Wrangler Open Derby with Loren showing her. We are pretty sure this mare has a great career ahead of her, and we wish Ken all the best with her. |

MY OWN BADGER
NCHA LTE of $24,667.00
Bred and Owned by Harvey & Evelyn Giese
It has just been a pleasure to train horses for Harvey & Evelyn over the years. They have helped us get to where we are, and we will always be so grateful. Badger has been such a nice gelding to have in, and again, special to us as he was one of My Own League's first babies to get shown.
His accomplishments have included
2008 Canadian Supreme Open Futurity Reserve Champion
2009 Canadian Supreme Open Derby Champion
Finalist at many other aged events.
We look forward to maybe seeing Harvey return to the cutting pen and show Badger this year in the non-pro!

LENA'S CAT FUSION
NCHA LTE of $11,781.00 in 2010
Owned in her Futurity Year by Gary Simmons
Now owned by John Demoissac
Loren and Gary both loved this gorgeous bay mare right from the day she walked throught the sale ring in FortWorth, December of 2009. Funny how it turned out her dam was a horse shown in Canada by both Les Timmons, and Denton Moffat. We were just thrilled to have her in our barn. She had a good futurity year, and we are really excited about showing her in 2011 for new owner, John Demoissac. Thanks to Gary for the opportunity to train and show Fusion, we think she has a great career ahead of her! |

This gelding was special to us right from the start as he is sired by My Own League, the stallion we owned until last spring. Popper is so cow smart, and quit just isn't in his vocabulary! Many thanks to Ken for letting us train and show this good gelding.

EBR Eye Candy
NCHA LTE of $40,470.00
Owned by Darcy Geherman
Wow! What a season 2010 was for this super Playgun daughter. “Candy” has just matured, and become a show horse deluxe. Taking home the A.C.H.A $3000 Novice Horse Championship, as well as the Canadian Cutting Horse Association $3000 Novice Horse Championship this mare proved to be a real weekend warrior as well as finishing off her Aged Event career with a Championship in the 5/6 Non Pro with Darcy aboard and a finalist in the Open 5/6 with Loren at the Canadian Supreme. I don’t think anyone who was at the Olds Cutting Horse Classic Show will forget Candy’s amazing performance in the Bridle-less competition where she marked an incredible 150 under two accomplished American judges. This mare has won the hearts of many on the show circuit, she is so pretty to watch, and is just an absolute sweetheart to be around. We are really looking forward to seeing what Candy’s first baby, Gracie’s Cat, will be like, she is in training now for the 2011 futurities. Thanks so much to Darcy for giving us the opportunity to train and show Candy, she will remain one of our all-time favourites for years to come I am sure.

ANNIES CAT
NCHA LTE of $69,586.00
Owned by Darcy Geherman
Darcy certainly knows how to pick them! Annie never ceases to amaze us. Just when we figured Darcy was ready to retire Annie, we brought him back out and won the A.C.H.A. Open Championship for the third time, and the Canadian Open Championship for the second time in his show career. Not only is Annie an incredible individual, he is proving to be a sire as well. From a small first foal crop Annie sired the Reserve Futurity Champion at the prestigious 2010 Wrangler Futurity in Calgary. We look forward to seeing what Annie will sire in the future. Again, we are so grateful to Darcy for giving us the opportunity to show his good horses! |

Mudd Slinging Cat
Owned by Darren & Bobby Niwa
“Mudd” is a very neat horse that Loren has shown lightly for a couple of years. He was purchased by Darren and Bobby late in his 4 year old year. He was a finalist as a three year old at the Canadian Supreme, and this year won some money at the weekend shows he went to in between his busy breeding season.
Big, big stop on this horse, and by the look of the foals this year from his first crop, it seems he is destined to be a sire! We wish Darren and Bobby all the best with Mudd.
( I am still trying to convice Bobby to ride him herself, as he was always the one our girls fought over to warm up and cool down at the shows, a very nice horse to ride!) |

CARLY CHRISTIANSON
It is such a thrill to watch the youth show in this sport. They are fierce competitors, and are such a great group of kids who support each other so well. By the looks of the youth cutting in Canada, we can be sure the sport is alive and thriving!
Carly is going to try showing in some non-pro classes this year with her new horse, Itchi Majorette, as well as continuing in the Junior Youth. We are very excited for her as this should be a real year of growth for her as a rider, and sportsman.
Carly's Achievements to Date
2009 Canadian Finals Show - Junior Youth Champion
2009 NCHA Western Nationals /Ogden, Utah -Junior Youth Champion
2010 ACHA $2000 Limit Champion
2010 CCHA $2000 Limit Reserve Champion
2010 ACHA Reserve Champion Jr. Youth
2010 CCHA Champion Jr. Youth
All of the above was achieved on the good little mare, Bob Playin, owned by Equistar Enterprises. Carly will always be so thankful for the opportunity to have loved "Bobbi" |
